What to expect during a Reiki session: (By appt only. 505 S. La Grange Rd Suite 203 La Grange, IL 60525 - shared space with Soul-Ascending) Our sacred space is meticulously prepared to create a warm and welcoming environment for your session. Soft music, calming scents, and ambient lighting work together to enhance your relaxation and peace of mind while you tune out the real world for 60 minutes. You will be fully clothed and lie on a massage table with a light blanket. During the session, your practitioner will use non-invasive touch or hands hovering slightly above your body, ensuring your comfort throughout the session. Gentle touch can be used throughout your session. As the energy flows into your body, you will experience a profound sense of deep relaxation and you might even fall asleep. Many clients describe feeling a warm, soothing sensation or tingling as their energy centers realign, bringing them a sense of inner calmness and peace. It is also common to see colors and images during your session. Reiki has the unique capacity to release stagnant energy blockages, allowing any accumulated emotional stress or tension to dissipate. This release often leads to a renewed sense of emotional well-being, leaving you feeling lighter and more refreshed. Most clients notice a difference after their first session however benefits of Reiki grow with repeated sessions. Monthly sessions are encouraged; your body will know when it’s time for another treatment which could be less than a month or more than a month. Hydration is key as Reiki enhances the natural detoxification process.
